Northern Rail, Bike n Ride, n you!
You may be pleased to hear that our local train provider, Northern Rail, has been recognised in the National Rail Awards. Jo Cleary told us:
“In November this year Northern Rail scooped two of the eight gongs available at the ATOC National Cycle Rail Awards ceremony at the House of Commons. Ian Hall, who commissioned the Bike ‘N’ Ride series, picked up the Cycling Champion award and Northern Rail collected the Partnership Working award. The winning of the latter relied heavily of the partnerships developed and utilised as part of the Bike ‘N’ Ride series. So, WELL DONE YOU LOT!”
